Get Covered NJ is the health insurance marketplace for the state of New Jersey, established as part of the Affordable Care Act. To be eligible for Get Covered NJ, you must meet certain criteria.

If you meet these eligibility requirements, you may enroll in a health insurance plan through Get Covered NJ during the open enrollment period or if you have a qualifying life event that triggers a special enrollment period. To enroll in Get Covered NJ, the state-run health insurance marketplace in New Jersey, you will need the following:
• Proof of identity (e.g. driver's license, passport) • Proof of residency in New Jersey • Income information to determine eligibility for financial assistance • Information about any current health coverage you have • Social Security numbers for everyone in your household who needs coverage.
